About us
Braussie was born from a passion for coffee and a desire to connect two worlds—Brazil and Australia. With deep ties to both countries, the journey began ten years ago when we moved to Australia to understand the thriving coffee culture. What was discovered here went beyond business—it was an appreciation for the craft, quality, and value of coffee that inspired us.
Our family’s coffee farm in Minas Gerais, produces some of Brazil’s finest beans. With a deep understanding of the Australian market, we’re proud to connect local roasters with exceptional coffee from our family farm and other coffee producers across Brazil

Our Coffee Beans
CATUAI RED
It’s a hybrid of the Mundo Novo and Caturra varieties. The Catuai variety comes in both red and yellow versions, with Catuai Red being one of the more popular variants. The flavour profile of Catuai Red often includes mild acidity, smooth body, and notes of chocolate, nuts, and sometimes a subtle fruitiness.
FLAVOUR PROFILE:
Acidity: Medium-low acidity, offering a smooth, balanced cup.
Body: Full-bodied and smooth, making it a great option for espresso blends or as a single origin.
Flavour Notes:
• Chocolate & caramel — Smooth sweetness with a pleasant, lingering aftertaste
• Toasted nuts (almond, hazelnut) — adds depth and balance
• Fruity hints (red fruits, berries) — occasionally present, depending on terroir and processing method
